Mike Atkin - Bio
A highly respected, industry recognised expert with fifteen plus years experience within the Loyalty/CRM Solutions Market, with specialist knowledge in all aspects of Loyalty Programmes, including strategy and operations. This includes all facets of Customer Management including basic customer acquisition schemes, Affinity Cards, single-brand programmes, co-branding, continuity campaigns and coalition/multi-partner programmes.
Within the Loyalty Programmes market some of the major programmes successfully implemented - including the design, development, implementation and management are Premier Points, Amex Membership Rewards, Shell Smart, Boots Advantage, Marriott Rewards and specific initiatives with Tesco, Sainsburys, Somerfield, LloydsTSB, Asda, ExxonMobil, GE Capital, House of Fraser and Microsoft. These schemes have required the development of a full awareness and understanding of Loyalty Platforms, Smart and Mag-Stripe Cards, Contact Centres, Rewards sourcing and fulfilment and data management.
Mike has recently reviewed and benchmarked over 30 global Loyalty Software Platforms and completed evaluation studies of capabilities on behalf of programme operators in the USA, UK, South Africa and Russia.
An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of achievement in implementing change successfully and efficiently, based on a thorough understanding of the loyalty industry.
Mike is an Associate and Speaker at The Oxford Retail Futures Group (Templeton-Oxford) and has written several articles for Colloquy and The Wise Marketer. He was recently (April 2005) voted the Best presenter at the CTST Conference in Las Vegas and will be speaking at CTST 2006 in May in San Francisco.
Richard Nutt - Technical Director
Richard has worked in loyalty and systems development for the past 15 years, working in both private and public sectors. Loyalty development and implementation has included major UK retail swipe card schemes, pan European chip card programmes, points bank initiatives ad banking payment systems. Most recently Richard has worked in the public sector introducing CRM and SMS text systems to raise awareness and use of public services and programmes. Currently WAP technology is providing many opportunities across all sectors, and Richard is pioneering front line development.
